    I'm considering these pods for a dust/chase light for offroad use only.

    What beam pattern (spot, flood, diffused) is common for this application?

    For dust/chase I would say flood/diffused

    Dumped the Tacoma, that's all it needed.
    I think that diffused would be best for those options, but I also do not feel that shining lights backwards is what I would want to see if behind you in the dirt. I think that something more like these would fit the purpose more.

    More of a warning that there is a vehicle up ahead, less of a shining light that could cause vision issues.
