Ya still not working. First drive out it worked for a few glorious honks then stopped. Next time I took it out same thing. Now it just doesn't work at all.

I just drew up a diagram of how I wired it

I don't know if this is going to help but this is a picture I took off of a video I made on how I wired up my hella horns. I have the oem harness going into 86 the power wires from the back of the horns going to the relay to 87 the ground wire is 85 and the power wire with the fuse on it is going to 30.Screenshot_20210408-153812_YouTube.jpg

What relay are you using? Maybe too cheaply made...or needs a higher rated one.

20210411_194442.jpg I just install these tonight and everything works perfectly fine I don't know if there is a difference between the 2nd gens and the 3rd gyms but I seem to have no issue. I plan on making a YouTube video on how I did it tomorrow.

Anybody done the hellas w/ the stock horns? I got some 2-3 year old horns I never put on my suby from before the taco and now I’m wanting to wire them in so that I have stock horn normally but can flip a switch to add the hellas into the mix w/ a relay. Thinking I just need to tap the power to the stock horn and put that to a switch, which then feeds my new horn relay.

If this makes sense.. this is my idea on paper.. I figure I can switch either 12v to the relay or the signal tap from from OE horn to the relay or the positive to the hellas and it would all work, not sure if one position is better than the others but I think I'm going to try and do this since I have everything on hand minus the cab switch.

It was a bad ground. I ran the ground to the bolt next to the battery and it's working good now. :bananadance:

way old I know but simple question. Would it matter if only one wire from 87 goes to one horn then a jumper to the other or does it need to be two wires out of 87, one to each horn for the positive side?

Dual 87 relays are nice for not having to split the feed.
