    I broke 6 bones before I was 21 (also torn a fair amount of ligaments and tendons, and dislocations connected with those breaks/accidents)...it's no fun dealing with them at any age.

    Prince Edward Island, up in Canada. and Meat Cove, is up in Nova Scotia.

    PEI. She went to as a kid and wants to get back there. Says it’s a beautiful island. The Meat cove, is a camp ground at the most northern (populated) tip of Nova Scotia on the Atlantic ocean. I had heard about it several years ago and thought it’d be kinda cool to see, being as its up on the cliffs over looking the ocean.

    Might hit up the Bay of Fundy, as we would be passing through there anyway.

    This is still way early in the planing stages though.

    I'm not gonna let a little broken bone stop me from doing what I want/need to do. It may slow me down, but it won't stop me. :turtleride:

    And speaking of the broken foot, I had previously been called for Jury Duty in Fredericksburg for the month of August. Yesterday just happened to be one of the days I had to report. Well, they cut me loose before everything got started and not because of my injury per se.

    Because of this giant-assed boot I'm wearing I can't wear long trousers. My employer even gave me a waiver to the company dress code so I can wear shorts to work for the time being. So for court I did what thought would be the next best thing and wore my best khaki shorts and a nice polo shirt. Normally I would wear a suit, or at least a sport coat and tie.

    But despite my best intentions apparently short pants are not permitted in the courtroom; my extenuating circumstances notwithstanding. The deputy sheriff who was coordinating the whole jury thing thanked me for coming in as ordered (some people have to be chased down) and understood perfectly why I had to dress the way I did, but protocol is protocol so no shorts no matter what.

    So, free day off from work and my pocket is thirty dollars heavier for my trouble. :)
