I recently noticed on my driver side that there is a larger gap between the tailgate and bed wall which isn't as noticeable on the passenger side. Is there a way to straighten this without having to install a bed stiffener? I'm trying to avoid a bed stiffener because I have a bed extender and I also have a bestop which isn't as heavy as a bed cap so I don't see a purpose for getting a one.

    Thanks,
    Ryan

I've seen people use a ratchet strap to pull the bed bad to straight, but honestly the only permanent solution on these trucks is the bed stiffiners.
There's at least one person on here who used a bed extender with the stiffiners, I'll see if I can find the thread.

Here it is. I'm sure there's a more elegant solution if someone really thought about it though...

Yep, it’s time to buy/install some bed stiffeners.
