Bed extender hardware kit, what do I need?

I keep seeing people selling the extender without the hardware kit, why it that? why do they want to keep the hardware without the extender?

Anyway, I know I need 74605 or 74604 and 74601 but this one particular part, 74603-01 has me puzzled http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001894PMQ What are they for? and where do they go to?

If you look down the page, you'll see they list all 3 parts together as recommened.

Good question. Why do people keep the hardware kit?? Im interested in the answer myself.

 

My only guess is to keep the drilled holes filled?

 

I have the hardware kit I need an extender; if anyone is selling LMK.

i have extender for sale.factory one with hardware.$150.00 picked up only.the only hardware is those pieces u bolt on the sides.oh and the strap kit.total of 4 things so i have pn 74503-01/74605-01/and74600-01 but in oe.

 

I would suspect they need to keep the hardware if they don't want the mounting holes exposed...

 

Sorry I dont know its just the two hinge that came with my extender. My extender got stolen BTW so lock it down if your going to keep it in the truck.

 

or the person that is selling it jacked it from someone like me and couldn't take the mount/hinge.
