Bed lights 2010 TRD

looking to add bed lights, want a waterproof switch in bed. What wire can I tap into back there for power?

 

None. Run the wire all the way up to the battery via fuse box/inline fuse.

 

Ok I am building a Blue Sea fuse system so I have an empty port and will run it right to it thanks

I put this in my turd and it rocks. runs off dome light, I am ok with that.

you can power it any way you need to, but super clean install and nice
full install kit w/taps (kit was made by a dealer aftermarket company that does TSS type work)

How much light do they give off? Can you see much of the bed when on?

 

i used LED light stips and a water proof switch ! ill post pics when i can but lots of light

I can see all of the bed pretty well when it is dark. they look meh if the sun is out, but after dark, under my
black softtopper, they work great.

 

I ran a wire all the way back from fuse box in engine compartment. I bought a roll on Amazon, and couple of connectors to connect the strips. Cost less then half of what some of the people charge with whole kits on here and I was able to do under hood, glove box and center console, with waterproof switch in back. Just order it yourself on amazon, trust me!
