Bed Lights

I already have these bed lights installed to the rear of my bed, I also want to put a set at the front of the bed. Can I just tap into the other wires so these will be powered at the same time?

If you have replaced the cab incandescent bulbs (center and map lamps) to LED you'd be fine. Max amp to that circuit is 7.5A. If the first set was installed as per instructions...tapping wires on connector 1E of the cab fuse/junction box.

 

I'm confused what the Map and Center lights have to do with this? Yes I already have these lights in, and they go on and off with the door locks.

 

Read again, they are on the same circuit you have the bed lights on, that's why they turn ON and OFF with the door locks.

 

Map and Dome Light were changed out to LED as well years ago.
