    When using this while camping for a small fan does the engine have to b running? If not how lOng could I run it without draining my batt?

    In my experiences the truck has to be on and or running depending on the application. It sucks due to gas prices but it is there for convienence and piece of mind. Sorry but I hope this helps. If someone knows otherwise please let us know.
