Here are a couple teaser pics of the one I'm working on. I plan to offer 3 heights as long as the market will support the 3 options.
Over cab height, cab height and below cab, the over cab is what's in the pics.
The high rack will allow longer items to clear the shark fin and allow a softopper to be installed under it. It has full length base rails which will allow a smooth surface for sealing the topper.
All aluminum so no rust and extremely light weight!
There are tie down point along the base plate and will have many holes and slots for endless accessorie options.
I am go to try and incorporate locking flip up side door accessorie mounts for fuel maxtracks axe shovel ect, these will install on the sides via lift off hinges for easy removal but will not be removable when latched, this will allow easy access to the sides while adding security and accessorie mounts.
I'm still trying to figure out a clean easy way to lock up the back.
The bumpers are also in the works!

I had some designed up last year but when I had to slow down on things due to a divorce, I never finished them. I am working hard to put out a few new products. We appreciate it!

Hop back into those tonneau cover brackets! I would love to own one of your racks. Definitely my favorite look of rack with that basket installed. Otherwise I might do Voodoo because of how versatile it is to just take off a single bar here or there if I needed to

    Basic overland stuff...
Access Tonneau Sport. It needs to fit inboard of the bed rails to work with a bed rack. I modified the mounting tracks a little to make it fit. I think I put more info in my build thread.

Looks like it may be time to sell the kbvoodoo rack... they dont have any options for inside softtopper and won't even try the idea. They're working on a z bracket for maxtrax but it may never actually be fabricated. Sweet rack but Just not enough options for what I want to do.

Maybe someday for a softopper rack, but we're pretty swamped right now.

Not asking for a softtopper rack, just a set of sewn pannels that can be hooked or attached somehow to the inside of the existing rack to make it weather proof. There's a guy in one of these forums that was going to get some heavy duty canvas or vinyl and have a shop put something together, i just can't find it anymore (way too many threads).

Again, it would be a really sweet accessory and you will sell a ton of them. You don't even have to make them, just have a specialty shop make them with your specs and resell them.

I have been liking my kbvoodoo mid rack. Been working great for the short time I've had it.

How did you mount the maxtrax? I'm looking to get mine mounted and havent decided how yet.

    Getting closer to production!
A few pics of the latest version, got the chance to do some good offroad testing at cruise Moab 2017, all worked out great!
The rack is only 44lbs and the doors are 11lbs each. One thing I wasn't expecting was how cool it stays inside the softtopper now that it's mostly covered by aluminum! Also installed the prototype set of high rise awning mounts which work out nicely with the tent installed. image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgO

He made some sweet z brackets. He also sent the kbvoodoo owner the cad drawings and kb voodoo improved on it and made and even better one. Theres renditions in one of these threads. Kb voodoo said it will be a few weeks until he makes them (if he even makes them). He is still on the fence about making them so it may be a good idea if you write him and ask for them as well.

We have a new premium level rack coming out.

It looks similar to our Tacoma specific rack, but features the following improvements:

    - 40% thicker material.
    - All stainless steel hardware.
    - Adjustable width (can be used on ANY truck, especially Tundras and Tacomas, of course).
    - All members are partially boxed for increased strength.
    - Has mounting holes for RotoPax built in.

    Accessories will include:

    - Adjustable height ladder rack.
    - MaxTrax mounting brackets.
    - Our famous outboard bike mounts.
    - Rear tire trays for bikes.
    - Brackets to allow the use of this rack with tonneau covers.

As usual, it will come in two heights (10" and 18"), and long bed and short bed versions.

These are pics of the prototype, not quite the production version just yet.

And here is the ladder extension.
