Is anyone running a bed rack and have to install air bags to support the weight?

Yes run a bed rack and no idea on why we'd need airbags. Do tell. And welcome aboard.

The weight of what? Certainly not the rack. A rooftop tent will set it down just a bit, but loaded up with everything people usually drag around to camp overnight in a national park you might need a mild lift. Don't see many people using airbag lifts here. No way would I go into serious back country with a lift you could deflate with a pocket knife.
