I'd like start carrying a couple of Jerry cans full of gas in the bed of my truck. I'm new to vehicle mods, of any kind, so I'm a little paranoid about drilling holes in my truck bed.

Is there a bed rail mount I can use to secure a Jerry can mount to (that locks)? I want to keep the cans in the bed most of the time, so they need to be secured from theft. This way I avoid drilling holes, and I can take the whole thing out of my bed if I have to move something big, etc.

    Thank you.

Mine are super basic but work really well. It's some 1"X1" angle iron as a base then two pieces of flat stock with the eyelets of a ratchet strap welded on to secure the can

This is exactly what I was looking for. Do you mind sharing exactly what you bought? Did you have to do anything extra to mount that plate to the bed rail? This looks awesome to me.

Edit: I'm guessing you went with this setup:

That is the system I purchased, and nothing extra has to be done.

There is/was a group buy on TW that may still be active:

I PM'd the OP about it. If that deal isn't active, do you have any opinions on where to order this stuff from (better deals)? Amazon doesn't really seem much better on final price compared to the Rotopax site itself.

Every now and then, you might see a sale on the Rotopax site, usually on holidays.

Another option is purchasing a blemished model, still fully functional. For your 3 gallon container that normally sells for $100, the blemished model sells for $78.
