I know Beefed is super busy with orders and building, but I was planning on taking a trip to San Diego in a month or two. I was thinking about just stopping by and having him install them as well. Plus it would be cool to see the shop.

What I meant more or less, was that it would be cool to see the matirials prior to construction. Plus who better to install the sliders, then the person that designed them? lol

Alright guys...I'm almost caught up with all the items that came through during my recent and crazy move. The downtime really sucked and backed me up, but I'm getting product out again and thought I'd show a couple pics I just took last night. I'm also shipping a few carrier bearing drop brackets toward the end of this week in case anyone waiting for one is reading this post.

This is a pic of a wide set sitting next to a narrow set. The narrow set will have the rear kick up's on them. I just want people to see that I'm alive and doing my best to get everything to people who ordered during the time of my lengthy and frustrating move.

btw...I'm currently in the process of PMing with a guy on here regarding him coming to me with his DCLB, as this model slider is way overdue and should have already been available. So hopefully only about 1 or 2 more months for these to become available. I know this has been said before, but this model slider (DCLB) is a must for me and also the people interested, so this HAS to happen soon, and this new fab place should allow that to easily happen now. I have big plans for the 2nd gen Taco and 2011.

Great work Beefed! I like that raw look. Would be cool if you could just clear coat them and install.

Hope to pick up some sliders from you soon.

Hey beefed, are you referring to me stopping by your shop? I've PM'd you a couple times but haven't heard back. I'm still game. I'm just up in Riverside County.

You last 3 guys should all have a return PM from me.

    Slider Update:

As a lot of you know, I moved in Dec and this really backed me up badly. To the point my response time regarding PM's, e-mails and phone calls started to suffer and make me look like a flake. When I get as backed up as I did, I go into "physical work mode", which means you can find me actually building parts and not sitting on this computer that turns minutes into hours and hours into a full day. I can't build parts sitting here. I want you guys to know that I take this stuff serious and I have been working super long days and working very hard to get backed up orders sent out to those waiting.

The good news is I'm just about caught up and only have about 2 pair of sliders to finish and a 1st gen rear bumper. The small stuff gets caught up quickly as I can usually pump out a few items per day.

I like to say...this job is hard enough when things are going smooth, but then toss in a big move (house & shop) and this is what will separate the serious from the lazy. Dealing with about 4 forums, e-mail, phone, running errands to p/u the millions of different supplies it takes to do this leaves me about 1 - 2 % of a life. Thankfully I love what I do and EVERY part I make still excites me when I see how nice it turned out. I'm a perfectionist and if I'm happy I know the customer will be too.

I rely on orders to survive, so letting people know that things are getting on track for me again is very important to me. I've still received a few PM's regarding my sliders, so I can't thank you guys/gals enough for your interest and the patience everyone has shown.

I'll post some pics of the set with kick up's I'm finishing now, and also the bolt on steps and bolt on mud flap brackets I'm sending to a guy who bought a set and FedEx somehow managed to lose his 2" x 6" five lb box of mounting hardware that was wire tied, taped and shrink wrapped to the sliders...all I needed at this point. I think the delivery guy was weak and really had to man handle these 105 lb monsters to the door step.

So after reading every post in this forum I was compelled to register and make my first post to say nothing more than "holy $h!t beefed - your work looks amazing"

Just bought my first Tundra yesterday! Was merely looking into options for steps and possibly some rock rails and came across this thread. Glad I did.

Does anyone have any pics of the narrow or medium sliders on a 2011 Crew Max? Looking for something that can double as a step but looks relatively understated on first glance. How about anyone's experience with trying to pull off a polished / chrome-esque sorta look?
