Beepingest damn truck

This truck beeps more than what should be the legal limit.

It beeps in drive, it beeps in park. It beeps when a door is opened, it beeps when they're not. It beeps when I put my seat belt on and beeps when I take it off. It beeps on the street and in my garage.

I have not been able to decipher the proper combination - this truck is like playing a game of Operation.

In many areas this truck is a win, but it's the beepinest damn thing there ever has been.

 

It sounds like you hate your truck and should sell it. Then you won't have to hear the beeps anymore. Or...you could read the owners manual and figure out how to turn almost all of those beeps off.

Mine beeps when I’m not wearing my seatbelt and whenever I leave the car running and remove the smart key from the cab. Other than that, I can’t say I’ve noticed any excessive beeping.

maybe you can turn some of them off/turn down the volume of the beeps through the head unit?

 

mine has zero beeps, they must of not had beepers in 05

You could just do what I do and just mumble to the truck "yea, I know, shut-up..." I get weird looks in parking lots alot. Probably not much to do with that, more likely other reasons

Would you like them beeping here or there?
They might be beeping everywhere

What if they beeped in a box?

Is this an automatic transmission thing that I am too cool to understand? I've had a 2016 6MT and now 2020 6MT and the only time it beeps is when I hit lock or unlock.

Correct...just takes some reading & have eliminated nearly all beeps

 

Mine is more like "alright, alright, keep your panties on...." Same basic premise

 

I turned off the beeping. No beep with seat belt off, door open etc. sucks being off-road and be belted in and can’t look at what you’re driving over. Carista, tech stream etc. plenty of ways
