I have a 2011 regular cab and the bench seat has been killing me since I bought the truck a year ago. I recently asked a woman driving a sr5 prerunner regular cab if she would like to trade seats and to my surprise she said yes. Both trucks are 5 speeds. So what all do I need to prepare for the swap.(airbags and seatbelts) Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to TW! When I did that same thing on an older Toyota truck the mounting points for the seats were entirely different, requiring me to drill through the floor and mount them using grade 8 hardware and washers. Not sure if that is an issue with the 2nd gen, but be sure to check.

Thanks man! From what I could find the holes are already there I just have to cut the carpet. The main thing I was worried about is the airbag plugs since her seats don't have the side airbags. I'm not 100% sure on everything it was hard to find a good thread.

Did you ever end up figuring this out or doing the swap? I have a 2009 reg cab with bench and found a 2000 split bench that I want to pick up to swap. Unsure if what to do about the side airbags or if this will be an easy swap in general. Any thoughts?
