Benefit Car Show (Sat, March 20th, Glendale)

So my uncle owns and operates the ole' Fly-N-Hi Total Performance Center in Phoenix (35th Ave and McDowell, although this address is not important). Anyways, he's putting on a benefit car show on March 20th for a friend of his who's been battling cancer and undergoing chemo. He came through for me a few years back and brought a lot of Fly-N-Hi guys to a benefit car show my mom was putting on, so I figured I'd put an open invite to the Tacoma community and see if anyone would like to come and shoot the shit, show off your rig and do it for a better cause than most. I don't personally know the guy who's fighting cancer, but I know that cancer sucks and don't mind going out to hang for a few hours.

• Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 4 PM MST – 9 PM MST
• Price: Free · Duration: 5 hr

Let me know if you guys are interested 'cause I'll be going there either way and wouldn't mind meeting those of you I haven't had the chance to meet yet, as well as see faces I haven't seen in awhile.

That I can tell, most of the vehicles will be Off Road rigs and what not, but I see no reason why you couldn't bring something else as well or instead of. I will post more details as they're available.

The stupid white truck kicked my ass this week so I'm probably not going to make it. Just going to hang out with the family this weekend. Glendale is soooooo far.

Question; If we wanna take part in the show, do we need to get there before 4?

 

I believe if you just want to be judged, you need to be there at 4. I think you can still "show" the truck regardless. I'm not 100% sure.

This was a Toyota... Supposedly.

 

The folks who were doing the raffle had some slick 4Runners. I don't normally like red wheels but they were working with the black.

 

So I don't wanna steal all of his thunder, but @mandog won the best award of the night.

On top of that, the two organizers (the 4Runner owners) gave the three of us a shout out for coming as they're big Toyota owners themselves.
