We managed to break the rear driveshaft (broke it right in half!) in the middle of the Utah desert. We hitched to a Uhaul shop (thanks Keith and Kerri!), rented a truck and a flatbed trailer and hauled the truck to Grand Junction (at the recommendation of the shop that rented the Uhaul). HUGE shoutout to Drive Train Industries in Junction for building us a custom driveshaft.

Haha. The truck has been living in Denver so not cross country but still a solid bit of 3-in-the-front action.

Yeah! I now have two shiny new drive shafts! The custom rear is wayyyyy more beefy than the stock Toyota part.

Yeah! Found a new bed from a junkyard shorty after you saw it last. POR15'd the heck out of the underside of this one before it went on.

Good to see another Nest owner! From the pics the canvas looks like it's in decent shape. At least it isn't as stained as mine.

In really good shape except for a section of the back that has several holes. Do you have pictures of yours? I'd love to see it.

Anything in particular you'd like to see? There are some in my build but nothing detailed. I'm using it the next few days so I can get more if you'd like.

Replaced a leaking pinion seal this week. Thanks @License2Ill for the tips.

Spent last weekend camping outside of Buena Vista. It's getting cold and there's already snow on the MTB trails!
