We ran into these guys as we entered Lockhart Basin

We got a kick out these guys. They were stacking rocks like none other. The guy in the Yota wasn't wearing shoes. Chad was helping them spot the Yota when one of the rear shackles struck a rock.

No shoes dude asked excitedly, "WHAT WAS THAT!?!?!"

Chad said, "Just the shackle. You're good."

Again no shoes dude asked, "What's that!?!?"

We both looked at him with an odd expression and then Chad gave him a brief explanation as to the purpose of the shackle. We had a good chuckle over that.

The guy in black was driving a stock Wrangler. The Yota appeared stock too.

My two favorite pics. I think they help to bring the scale of the landscape into perspective.

This was a side trip on the way back through Colorado. We met up with Jeff (Dark Knight) and he took us to an old mining trail.

Oh I'm going to. I'm kinda keeping everything chronologically organized. Once I've posted all the 2011 stuff, I'll throw the '12 stuff up.

I have a leatherman, just happens to be 2000 miles away.

The first year was only about 4 days. The second year was 10. Thus year, it's 14.
