So, you father told you not to four wheeling again, and you did anyhow, and now the truck is damaged. I wish I could feel sorry for you...but as a father who has bought two cars for my children in the last three years, it is time for you to park the truck and walk until you learn how to follow your parents directions with high priced toys.

Yes, it is time you father took your toys away and put you in time out until you show the maturity to earn the right the drive a new fancy truck again.

If you had bought this truck out of your earnings, and spent your hard earned money on payments, gas and repairs you would treat this vehicle far differently.

Time for you to show maturity and respect.

As for the vehicle, why don't you just jack it up and look for damage? If the axle is bent, it should be obvious, I suspect the axle slid back on the spring and you snapped a center bolt, $1.99 and two hours to fix, using only hand tools.

How about you get your hands dirty and let us know what happens?

Oh, if my kid EVERY did that and lied about it, it would be time for a new pair of walking shoes.

Yeah I didn't think filling it full would be a good idea. haha. I park with the front end at a slight downhill and then fill it up until a little runs out but the drain plug is only like halfway up. haha

I think it is funny how the OP is lying to his dad then typing it all out on a public forum. OP, have you tried topping off your blinker fluid to see if that helps?

^Actually Toyota windshield washer fluid is only so-so. I get a coupon for a free jug every now and then in my Club Toyota spam email. I find it streaks more than the Wal-Mart brands.

That's how my grandpa would check how much gas he had in his underground tank. He had a long wooden stick that he had put marks on and he would dunk it in the tank and see where it was up to on the stick and each mark was so many gallons. haha

There's a difference between booksmarts and commonsense. I tend to fall more onto the booksmarts side of that though:anonymous:

Alright, this thread is getting out of hand. I only started this thread to see what others thought might be causing my tire to be tilted or if its always like that and I have nothing to worry about. Now, all people want to do is make assumptions about me and say how bad of a person I am. Maybe if you put yourself in my shoes you may understand. I know a lot of you guys are hating on me because I did not have to pay for my truck and because I lied to my dad about how I hit the ditch. The only reason I lied to him is because I did not want to lose my truck. Like I said, it is my dream truck. If I tell him, he will most likely sell it.

No need to be a dick man. If you don't have anything constructive to say then don't say it.

As a parent of two boys, you're the dick.
You don't deserve the truck. You deserve a swift kick in the ass.

No one has made any assumptions about you, you have admitted several times that you lied, this is all fact based.

Truth hurts, doesn't it? I guess you already know that though, which is why you continue to lie about it.
