This makes me sad, I really want one bad. My old truck had it and it was awesome.

The motor is from a Honda Ridgeline, it's called REGULATOR-ASSEMBLY--REAR-WINDSHIELD-POWER, part number= 73290-SJC-A01. Order it from any Honda parts online, it's a lot cheaper than eBay.

Here's BenWas original version, it's not fully hidden, but he has a step by step how to.

Thanks Adio! That gives me something to go by at least. I did a search yesterday and did find regulators and even found one that looked just like the one that BenWa uses, but could not find out what vehicle it cam out of. I have a couple of other mods I am going to do and then I will probably take the plunge and try this one on my own if BenWA isn't back yet. Man, I hope the guy is OK.
    Thanks again,
    Ken

If you're gonna go ahead with this mod I think his orginal version would be perfect for your double cab, cause this version was made for double cabs. But if you want more of a hidden type of kit, it's get even more involving and time consuming.

I have an Access Cab so I went with a fully hidden type.

Can this power sliding rear window kit can work for other sliding window?
I plan to change the back-seat fixed side window of a Subaru Baja to this kind of power sliding window.

For those that'll end up doing this mod themselves, highly recommend using a 2004-2010 Sienna rear vent switch. Just got done figuring out the wiring thanks to members JBCjr and Jerez. Installed and mounted in one of the blank slots.

Here's the switch. Got mine at a local auto junkyard, a lot cheaper then eBay.
    AD6DAD61-DCD1-41E7-8B10-A37098FFED33-250_5caa6f3ecfadce5939420fd46b519a59ee31a301.jpg

Here's the pin out and how it should be wired. Looking at the back of the switch as pictured below.

    #1______#5
    #2______#6
    ________#7
    ________#8
    #3______#9
    #4______#10

Pins #1 and #5 is for illumination- ground and power
    Pins #3=12V Power. #9=Ground. Pins #8=Close. #7=Open
*If Open and Close is backwards just switch wires.
    FA578B56-46BC-4BB7-87E4-5D1EFC1841F8-250_18c5623f082345817d66a0979a7046c1cd22c251.jpg

I wasn't able to cut the plug from the wreck Sienna that plugs into the switch. So I bought one off of eBay, audio wire harness TWH951.

For the switch to fit snugly and perfectly to one of the blank slots, I had to shave off all side of the switch. Dremel with a sanding drum is perfect for this part.

    Before.

Had to also shave down the inside of the blank slot. Taking off little by little and test fitting. Used an exacto knife for this. (Forgot to take a pic of after)

Here it is installed. It takes a couple force to actually push it out from the back. So it's tight and flush.

Here it is illuminated, next to the fog light switch. Probably gonna switch the bulb out to amber.

Thanks Adio! I ordered a regulator kit for the Odyssey and plan on trying to figure out a way to install it in a hidden manner. I am not worried about taking the panel(s) off.
Man, that switch turned out NICE. Being that the closest junkyard is at least an hour away from me, I just ordered a switch and the wiring harness off of eBay. Thanks SO much for providing the part numbers. Now I just need to research how to attach the sliding part of the window to the assembly.

I just wished if he wasn't able to sell them, at least sell the Part#'s and where to buy so we can do it ourselves... I understand people get busy with stuff.

I know I'd pay $10 right now for all the info for the hidden kit.

Just wondering, why'd you decided to go with an Odyssey regulator and not with the Ridgeline?

Thanks guys, but props to those that help with the wiring diagram.

I had the same thought too about just buying the info from BenWa. I had suggested it on his feeler thread, but no response regarding that suggestion.

CRAP! That scared the hell out of me! It was a typo, I did order the regulator assembly for the Ridgeline NOT the Odyssey. Whew!

I can see BenWAs hesitance in handing out/selling instructions for this mod for liability reasons and for fear that someone might just steal his idea and market it (if he is in fact hesitant to release the info). I am still wondering if the guy is ok. It just seems weird that he was SO into getting this mod out there and then just dropped off the face of the earth (or at least the forum).
My neighbor just brought home a new Ford F150 with an electric slider. I think I may ask to have a little closer look at how that window is set up.
I would love to get some info on connecting to the window, etc. but I will try and figure something out. I did take a look at the regulator assembly and noticed that it has a SIX pin connector, but only TWO pins are used. When you supply 12v+ to one pin and ground the other the regulator moves the window track in one direction. When you switch polarity, the window track moves in the opposite direction.
Adio: Is that what the switch is doing, changing polarity for open and closed? Did you have a connector for the regulator assembly or did you just use a couple of small female spade adapters?
I am going to try to post everything I learn from this adventure (within reason), but man I have to hand it to BenWA, Adio, JBCjr and Jerez. Without you guys I don't think that any one of us would be brave enough to tackle this mod. Thanks guys.

    ^^ haha ah I see.

I do hope he'll eventually come back and give us some update.

Yups, exactly like you said changes polarity for open and close feature.

I tried finding a connector but couldn't fine anything. Couldn't even find a wreck Ridgeline locally. Just ended up using female quick connect/disconnect connectors.

I got lucky getting the Sienna switch plug's diagram after consulting with ProForce.

Adio had already took the bull by the horn and made his installl happen and shared with all.

It bears repeating from the "How Many Are Interested" thread.

Adio, Really well done post. Excellent pictures and information! Great post!!!

Like to rep dibble9012, for posting pics and sourcing info on the Sienna Power Vent switch.

BenWa all due Rep, for all of your intensive work. Hope you can get back soon. The demand is not going away."

I gotta say, Im glad i pulled the trigger on it when i did. it seems as though I was the last one to have contact with him and get one of his kits. I know he had to rush mine cuz he was going on a 4 week trip or something but that was late june.

On another note, i need to oil up my regulator screw channel, anyone have any recommendations oil grease?

Looks like he logged in on the 14th. I'm surprise still no update on his kits.

You can always use graphite lubricant.

He's probably keeping a low profile for a reason, maybe legal? :notsure:

This is a great mod though!

I wish I would've ordered one earlier instead of waiting on the hidden version. My daughter will soon be old enough to open/close the window for me so that may end up being my power window mod.
