    Turns out, my left rear turn signal fell it off the inner fender clip causing it to rub my rear tire and wear through the harness. I lucked out and the local Harley dealer's matter tech had a spare harness (Harley doesn't offer the harness by itself, only as a complete $175 assembly). He didn't charge me for it, so I bought some more plastic connectors and the two-wire harness for my license plate light (which also was destroyed).

    Upgrades are on the back burner while I finish my truck. I'm still planning on getting it setup for a passenger and some saddlebags

    Not sure what to do first on mine haha. Possibly the breather and either mufflers or pipes. I also really dig the red plug wires, might do that cuz that’s a cheap and easy mod

    It was like $50/60 or something like that from Harley. Depending on the power mods, you'll need a new controller to adjust your air/fuel. Harley can no longer do factory ECU flashes for stage 1 and up, unless you have their screaming eagle controller.

    Ya I need to do a lot of research in to the stage kits. Not really sure what any of them do :laughing:

    I do know I will be buying forward controls real soon though.

    how do you like your fairing? I know I’m gonna want to get one of those as well.

    I'm not big on fairings, but a lot of Texas riding is highway speeds and on long rides it takes the wind off the chest reducing upper body fatigue.

    I like having mud controls for better control of the bike. Have you checked out DK Customs? They have a neat highway peg setup that's real clean. http://www.dkcustomproducts.com/ste...ay-peg-mounting-kit-cfl-finish-dk-shp-cfl.htm

    Stage 1- exhaust, air cleaner ECU/carb tune

    Stage 2- stage 1 plus cams and retune

    Stage 3- stage 2+1 plus heads and retune

    Stage 4- stage 1+2+3 plus stroke/bore kit and retune

    I touched it today when I was working on my guns and truck. The problem is my proximity to i35 and my financial priorities. I'm saving to buy a house.

    I rode it a month ago and it's still the fastest bike for 1 mile in any direction lol.
