I am in the process of ordering a new DCSB OR. I've been going around the barn on about three different colors.

1st place: 50/50 tie between Midnight Black Metallic and Celestial Silver Metallic.
    2nd place: Lunar Rock.

Black just looks the part. It also looks the best against foul weather. Fog, rain, snow makes black pop out at you more. The LR rock looks like camouflaged in the snow in some lights. That might not be ideal for winter interstate driving. Anyway. I've always loved silver. Living in the PNW, silver just stays looking cleaner longer. The interesting thing is that it is hard to see what the difference is, but Toyota changed their silver from 2021 to 2022. They stopped using Silver Sky Metallic and started using Celestial Silver Metallic. My gripe with SSM and even Classic Silver (on 4runners), is that it seems like there is very little shine to them. Like almost none. I know some of it has to do with what lighting is around, but sometimes I look at those colors and it looks like it has all the shine of a bedsheet.

I am mostly in favor of going MBM, but I still want to believe that I will see a CSM in person and be impressed enough to change my mind. Silver would make more sense for where I live with all the rain, but black might be worth the effort.

I would say that Lunar Rock is on of the most interesting colors that Toyota has offered in years. It looks different almost every time I see it. It can look like a minty white at times, and a darker medical scrubs green at other times. It reminds me of that Blurple color that Toyota offered on their 3rd gen 4Runners back in the day. Those were almost black during the night, and a deep purple in direct sunlight.

    Nothing major yet.
In no particular order some of my favorites are Quicksand, Cavalry blue, Barcelona Red, Inferno, and Army green. Blue Crush has potential to be one of my favorites too, I just haven’t seen many yet with any mods. The one thing I can say for sure is Cement is by far one of my least favorite. It’s so over done and boring.

I have to admit the Lunar Rock is starting to grow on me.

Some colors don't look right on some of the other models, love QS on my Tacoma but hate it on the Tundra and 4runner.

Red and white, love it on the 4runner but not on the Tacoma.

I generally prefer the darker colors on Sport, SR and lighter colors on SR5, Off Road and Pro

With that said black, white and cement. Exciting....
