a thread that turns into a bunch of yahoos thinking they know best and arguing is a waste of a read. I came hear hoping to learn about back cat exhausts.

I know this, stock equipment is not the best equipment, period. It is the best cost to production to performance ratio that makes the most money while keeping the most people satisfied. It’s business. So regardless of gains there are better options for quality and performance as well as clearance.

these threads should be to educate not ego stroke for know it all’s. I got two pages into this and so frustrated from all the BS. Going elsewhere to learn about good exhausts, what a waste

I installed a dual flowmaster system on my 2001 4.7 tundra including their cats. Definitely noticed more power on top, but with more noise at lower speeds. If you did long trips the drone would be annoying.
