    Hey dudes I have a question: the tabs on my headlights broke except for one, so I was going to buy a preassembled set of halos but after reading this they seem like crap. Should I just try and fix the tabs and retrofit them myself? How hard is it to do??

    You can get a brand new set of Depo OEM housings for around $150.
    Fully chromed, or Sport (BHLM done already)

    Titus-Will sells "repair kits" for $11.50 per kit.
    But that's $35 per light... $70 if you need all 6.

    Looks to me like they were willing to ship a replacement (to the original customer) without requiring that the failed unit be returned, simply upon evidence that the unit was rendered unusable.
    That says a lot... it means that TRS would not be in a position to return the failed unit to their supplier... TRS would be eating 100% of the cost of the replacement unit.

    But you claim in this thread that you were the paying customer, but in your rant thread, admitted that you bought the units from someone on TW.


    Ya, it would have been nice to verify warranty coverage, but why was TRS's actions the cause of you being without lights for 2 weeks? The ballast had failed... didn't matter if the wires were cut or not if it didn't work. Was it because it took you a week to gather the $60 in addition to the shipping time?
