I like Toyota of Puyallup and Foothills Toyota in Bellingham for purchasing.
Personally, I have liked Toyota of Olympia for service. That's where I take mine for service.
If you want to customize your truck with a lift, level, tint, heated seats and things like that look no further than Michaels Toyota in Bellevue.

Michael's. Take a look at @TheToyotaGarage on Instagram. They have the best when it comes to building up a truck at the dealer. I'm hoping to do some work with them sooner than later. I purchased my OR from them this year and my in laws have purchased 3 other cars from them.

We have a big Toyota family, and most of have purchased from Toyota of Olympus. I was able to get 4K under msrp on my 19 Tacoma. That’s fully loaded leather, tech, sunroof and all.

My cousins got theirs there as well. RAV4 hybrid, couple tundras, and a Camry. All within the last couple of years.

Talk to Kosal, he was great to deal with.

I can't speak to the service department or the rest of the sales staff (haven't interacted yet, yay COVID mileage), but Johnny Nguyen at Toyota of Kirkland took great care of me. He got me a MT TRD Pro at MSRP in a month while everyone else wanted markups and a 3 month waitlist. No pressure experience, he was respectful and easy to work with. Very personable guy!

I can't say the same for the sales manager when I paid for the truck. Tried to upsell me on every warranty and service package under the sun, and was really dismissive and patronizing when I declined, but thankfully I only had to deal with him for about 15 minutes.

maybe you meant the finance manager, at least that’s the stage in the vehicle buying phase that I dread the MOST! I’ve had some get pretty rude when turning down their financing options, whatever crap add-ons and warranties they’re offering.

I almost wanted to get up and leave in the middle of one. What makes it worst is when they start blabbing BS not knowing that I’m a very well seasoned mechanic and I’m like “really, you don’t say. Well, no thanks”.

You are correct. Regardless, I definitely felt the urge to walk out on his ass.

Me: "Thanks, but I decline all of the add-on warranties and service packages. I maintain my own vehicles."
Him: "Well I hope your truck doesn't break on you."
    Me: *glares in fuck you*

Toyota of Olympia, I assume? I'm looking to dump off my Jeep for a Tacoma. Just starting my search now. Currently emailing someone at Doxon, Marysville and Olympia. We shall see what numbers they throw at me, since the truck isn't there yet- both expected first week in March since I want the Cement color.

Briefly emailed a guy named Kevin at Michaels Toyota in Bellevue. Basically told me they only discount $300 off MSRP (because of supply and demand) -1000 rebate. I laughed and told him that wasn't getting me in the door to which he replied with some condescending texts. He told me they make up for it with free oil changes and brake inspections. I won't be taking my money to that dealership.

All that said, still excited to get a Tacoma...even with the bizarre seating position. haha!

Yes Olympia(in Tumwater). From what I hear it’ll tough for any type of discounts(at least that’s what I’m hearing). But always good to have dealerships duke it out to get your business. Good luck!

Looks that way, right now. Although I did get an initial offer from an Oregon dealer for a TRD Offroad DC SB w/ premium pkg, tech and LED lighting for 41k ( was just not the color I want). Thanks for the luck anyway!

Yeah, you're not going to find much discount off MSRP in Washington. Michael's Toyota is a great high volume dealer and often times one contact with some guy by text is not the best way to evaluate what you might accomplish in person. Michael's has an exceptional parts and service department that will customize your Tacoma in any way imaginable.

I also like Toyota of Olympia. Over the years I have had good chats with a few of their sales people and liked those conversations. I have a friend who works at Toyota of Puyallup in sales so I buy from him.

In about 5 seconds some guy on here named TacoBuffet will race in here to tell you you should get 10% off MSRP or you are getting raped. 5.......4.......3.....2......he comments on every thread about price. Like it's an obsession.

Thats fine with no discount in WA. Figured id give some local dealers a chance to earn business, otherwise I have zero issue taking a drive down to Oregon to save a couple grand. The person at Michaels claimed to be the internet sales manager, he even told me that there is only $900 on hold back. When they start sending condescending emails or texts, the lines of communication are done. Plenty of other dealers out there, regardless of their "reputation".

I agree. No need to be condescending with a potential customer.

I have heard good things about Kendall in Oregon. Good luck on your search man!

Sent you his information. The cool thing about searching for a truck is the ability to be selective in who you want to work with. If someone turns you off, off the list they go.
