i have seriously never ever posed for a picture with a gun of any sort. well, yes if there was a dead animal next to me, and i used that gun to take it down.

to me, they are tools, not toys. i wouldnt pose for a pic with my badass framing hammer either. :)

that said, i have taken pictures of my guns. i'm just not in the picture.

I always laugh when I see comments like that. The SEALs never used the USP. They used the HK Mark 23, and the only reason they even did that was because they wanted a supressor capable .45 and HK was the first company that stepped up. They've been using Sigs for years now.

Even then, just because the SEALs use(d) it doesn't make it the best handgun ever. Sigs are outstanding guns mind you, but I base that on years of experience shooting them and working in the firearms industry, not on which acronym agency is carrying them. ;)

The Five-SeveN is a neat gun, and does have some advantages (low recoil, flat trajectory, high capacity). But it is expensive, ammo isn't readily available everywhere, and the safety placement is a uncomfortable for many people. Also, as someone else already stated, the civilian ammo is unproven and I'm not sold on it's performance out of a 4" barrel as a defensive cartridge.

    Oh, I also like the:
    any handgun I shoot

To each their own for pistols, practice makes perfect and will allow you to work that pistol to shoot nice. Aim small, shoot small.

To JLee's credit the finger was off the trigger. :quickdraw:

    Gotta love a pistol.

The Glock is a great gun overall, and if I had a to buy alot of guns for say a police dept., with a group of varies skill levels, this is probably the best gun to consider. But there are very few guns that match the performance of my Sig P220 (older German made version) out of the box. This is one bad ass .45 :D

The only Glock I really want/need is the Glock 18, a Glock many of you who own a Glock probably never heard of.

It was on a Tripod I wouldn't point a loaded weapon and anyone unless I intended on pulling the trigger.

the glock 18 is my dream gun too, not to use though just to have for range fun. it's not practical as a side arm unless you keep it on semi-auto. the full-auto feature i'd think wastes ammo and is inaccurate.
