    in case apple updates their firmare and nixes the ipod connection or releases a new iphone next year.

    idk, ive never thought about that, but i kinda doubt they will since theres so many things made to work with their connection. the cord used in mine is actually 2 cords plugged together. The first is a long usb cord and then you connect the ipod adapter cord onto the usb end and there ya go. But if they did ever change it, Alpine would surely make a little adapter cord that would plug right in to your existing usb cord.

    Yeah i like the one pictured above too, but it was outta my price range haha. Go Alpine!!
