    If you lift a full 3" or even 2.5" it is recomended. When you lift the front end you lose caster and it is hard to get the alignment perfect. Aftermaket UCAs add caster. Low caster might cause your truck to feel like it wanders at high speed. Some guys stick with stock UCAs and say the ride is fine, some dont get UCAs and end up having to add them after.
