    What is the latest and greatest inplugs?
    any that you can run longer than 30k
    each side was different and toyota has no clue why and said to use all the same plugs.
    So why were they different and what brand and type would be the best...

    Guys at the parts counter have no clue?

    Last summer I installed the Denso iridium plugs specified for the 4-cyl in my V6, supposed to be good for 100K. No problems so far after 6500 miles.

    run the stock copper core plugs specified for the V6.... seems like the densos wear better.

    bilstein set at 1.75, Racho 5000 rear with 4 leaf kit, floor mats, high lift jack, pull hook in hitch, bed rail corner braces, severe duty brake pads and devil horns on the grill....
    My last plug order was:

    DENSO4506 (DEN4506)Spark Plug$ 2.27$ 0.006$ 13.62

    and that would be..

    Denso 4506 Spark Plugs, $2.27 each, for 6 plugs, total $13.62.

    You have to LOVE Rock Auto.

    4.10 gears, sliders, and lots of buttons.
    Electricity follows the path of least resistance. Having a multi tipped plug, still will yield 1 spark. Copper is a better conductor than the other metals (Platinum, Iridium, etc.). If you want longevity, get Platinum, Iridium, etc. If you want a better spark, Copper is the way to go. The manual for the 1GR-FE calls for Denso Copper/Nickel plugs. Best results (mpg, performance) is had with the Copper/Nickel plugs.

    Had the original plugs in mine for 80K at least before replacing just for the heck of it. Changing them out didn't make one whit of difference in performance. Was running smooth before and after. Yes, the gaps were probably worn some, but all still perfectly clean. They either make a spark and cylinder fires or they don't and you get a skipping skipping cylinder.

    Weathertech floor liners moded to hold OEM floor mats, weathertech vent visors, Toyota bed mat, LEER 100XL cap, hood gasket mod to stop whistling.
    Cost vs benefit, don't waste your money! There is a whole lot of magical claims out there, don't believe the half of it! Densos are a few bucks apiece, that's all I ever buy.
