If you want to travel, head to http://www.samtevanstrailers.com/ in Ogden. I bought my Leer from their Salt Lake City location. They usually have a Leer & a Snugtop on the floor. Good people.[/QUOTE]

This is where I got my Leer for my 13 short bed. SamTevans in Ogden. I didn't want to spend the $$ for new so he hooked me up with a used Leer for a heck of a deal. Even installed it and hooked up the lights for the price we agreed on. Great customer service- a gas piston whet out a few days later and he gave me new ones at no cost. Just trying to help a company that finally had good service and gave me one sweet deal. I would go here again and the used shell I got is great!

Not sure what your needs and want are but I'm surprisingly pleased with my Softopper. And it's so easy to put on, take off, store and fold open if needed to haul stuff too large to put in w/ the topper on.

    34lbs. too.

I'm pretty happy with my Snugtop Rebel except the lock is a weak POS. The key hole rotated inside the cylinder so now I can't put the key in to lock it. I'll take it apart and try to fix it later.

Thanks to everybody except the Beavis DB. I am not too far from Ogden. I have also considered a Tonneau type cover.

Jokes are fine, but know your audience. A new member asking a question, is not the thread to respond the way you did.

I'm looking at the century crown... Price is $1050 installed + tax. I added a tip down sliding window and Yakima tracks and was $1405 otd. About $450 less than anyone else comparable

Thanks for the help. I ended up going with an Under Cover Flex Tonneau cover so not even a shell after all. Still looking for the Milk and Cookies but I am sure they will turn up at some point. Beavis....No harm no foul. I get it that my post seemed a bit obvious but was simply looking for some input on a big purchase. Merry Christmas and make sure to leave Santa some milk if you figure out where to buy it.....

Beavis is just a Merry Marauder. has something to do with his childhood. he is a fine sport and you will come to understand. Now that OZ fellow on the other hand is a sly michevious small woodland creature. keep your eyes on him. i don't trust him with power tools.
