My spark plugs in my 2013 v6 have never been changed, truck has done 107000 on original plugs. Just looking for best plugs to put in or should I stick to OEM?

NGK or denso. Both are oem. NO BOSCH. NO AUTOLITE.

If you are keeping the truck you can run iridiums that will last longer with fewer changes.

I put the iridiums in my family's 2012 and its been great, less changes for me to do.

Whichever you buy, get them from a dealership. I bought counterfeit Denso plugs off eBay that almost destroyed our Rav4.

With 107000 miles on your plugs I think you should be telling is what they are, sounds best to me :D

The factory denso plugs can go quite a bit beyond 30k miles in a healthy engine. 40-60k miles should be doable With no issues.

You guys are making me nervous. My truck has 140K and I'm fairly certain it has the original plugs. I bought the oem denso plugs from the Toyota dealership, I feel like I need to do these before I drive it anymore.

Thank you for the link. I had gotten plugs for my RAV4 from a well rated seller. I pulled them on Sunday and checked them and the "iridium" was melted down to the porcelain after 6000 miles. Side by side comparison was ery convincing.

15ft lbs. DO not over torque! I went with NGK iridium ix (LFR6AIX-116619) and my fuel mileage is impressive compared to the factory'ish copper tips. I had the opportunity to get new boots (NGK 59009) for a good price, so I changed those too.

Funny story... The truck has 215000 km on it and one side of the engine (cyl 1,3,5) had old NGK's in there. cyl's 2 4 and 6 had Denso's.

Means they were original or the previous owner installed the same combination as the factory because the vast majority of 4.0l Tacoma's came from the factory with Denso on one side and NGK on the other.
