The engine has 5w30 Penziol Platinum.

Amsoil 0w-30 for the engine, severe gear 75w-90 in tranny and rear end. It's been in the family for 30+ years now, never failed.

Switched to Amsoil 5w-30 at 3800 miles and I'm really happy with it so far. Having all other fluids switched out this weekend with Amsoil as well.

I have been running Mobil 1 for many years and am quite happy. Seems more readilly availible than the others. At least in my area. :)

I use the 5w-30 with the 75w-90 in my manual tranny and rear diff. The 75w-90 is listed on their site for being ok with the manual. I definitely wouldn't try it with an auto. Might change over to their brake fluid too at some point.

    Mobil 1 ONLY......its a great oil.

Have tried lots of different types in my SC mustang and all get lower oil pressures and higher temps than Mobil 1.

    Chage it every 10,000...woo hoo.

Nope, 75W-90 in the tranny, it's listed as a suitable subsitute for the manual transmission, 4 banger. It helps keep my stock consistent, the rear end in my ranger uses the same stuff. I don't miss having to deal with a transfer case. Simpler truck to maintain.

Penn Plantinum is good. Good Price, good reviews.... can't argue with that.

30K, I will be switching to Amsoil Severe Gear in the xfer case and front Diff. Amsoil Tranny MTG in the Tranny.

Dino + LSD additive in the rear....

I plan to change the Syn oils next at 100K, and the Dino every 30K

No biggie, changed all the fluids on Monday, the factory oil filter was a bitch to get off. My chain wrench eventually got the damn thing to move.
