We have a 2020 Tacoma TRD Sport Access cab and we're looking for the best set-up to haul two 13" kayaks, two 11" paddle boards, and two 2 MTB bikes all at the same time. We like to go up to northern MN and have all our outdoor toys with us for adventure weekends.

I would look at buying a trailer. That's quite a bit of gear.

"...two 13" kayaks, two 11" paddle boards..."- just toss them behind the seat or in the back. :p

I use a Yakima rack setup with the large (66") bars on the ARE shell; they stick out about as far as the fender flares so no wider than the truck. That size works for the gear I carry but you can buy longer ones and then cut them to whatever length works for you. Having the bars jut out a bit is great as it gives a place to hang things like sleeping bags or bedding in the morning (to air out), lanterns or solar showers, etc.

I've carried multiple boats including two touring kayaks, 13' and 17' (Hully Rollers and Mako Saddles), and two mountain bikes (Viper mounts). I've also carried multiple whitewater boats, stacked but you could also use vertical posts or side carry cradles.

If I were going to carry all of the gear you list at one time, I'd stack the paddleboards, use vertical kayak holders (i.e. Yakima Big Stack) and if I still had enough real estate (which I don't think I would) a bike carrier on either side. The only hitch style bike racks I like are the ones that swing to the side and out of the way and they're expensive but if I needed one that's the route I'd go as I hate having crap block access to the back of my truck.

A trailer is another good option if it fits your lifestyle and you have room to store it. I've got a utility trailer from when I had my motorcycles and I always said I was going to build a removable rack for the boats but I've never gotten around to it.

1up hitch or square creation side mounts and Thule kayak, the paddle board maybe on the other side?
