Hey guys, I have just installed my 5100s front and rear, they are set at 1.75 and the front is noticeably higher than the back. I want them at 2.5 so I'm looking at the best rear lift solution. A buddy of mine has some toytec 2" AALs he said he'd sell me for $75. So 2.5 up front with a 2" AAL in the rear, does this sound like it would cause any issues? Should I put a shim in the rear for the extra 1/2"? I'm pretty new at this stuff and would appreciate any input. I just want a level truck at about 2.5 inches without compromising my ride quality. Thanks!

if you run the AAL you shouldnt have any problems, and it should level out the truck

It's an 89 Toyota Pickup. I got some stuff done to it.. FJ axles going under it soon.
Rear end always has a rake..so 2" AAL should level it.

You should put bigger tires on the rear to even out your lift.

That's a great idea, just got new yokohamas though. So the 2" AAL should be good? If so that's great news as it'll also save me some cash!

I'm level with my setup. 2" aal will give you a slight rake.

I'm assuming a rake means slightly higher in the rear. What's your setup?

When that time comes what coils would you recommend? I think the ride is better so far with the bilstiens, I understand it'll be a little stiffer in the back, but I actually think mine is to soft back there as is. is 2" ok for those rear shocks? Do you have link to the toytec aals. Maybe I can get em cheaper, his have 15k on em. Sorry, dont mean to bombard you with questions, I almost have all the info I need.
