I am new here and just bought my first Tacoma. I am thinking of adding some running boards or rocker flares to protect my truck from gravel roads I drive daily. I am also thinking of adding some mud flaps. What are your preferred methods to protect this area from rock chips? Thanks for any advice
Here is my truck. Are these the factory fender flares or just a trim for ordering mud flaps thanks again

    Stuff, things, this, an ADS
Search rock sliders. They are all over and depending on your location you might have a fab person near you.

I have oversized mud flaps and I put vinyl wrap along the bottom 15 inches of my truck.1974C555-03E5-434B-92ED-9C051CE58958.jpg

It’s helped a lot, I run a lot of gravel roads during deer season. It’s been on for 2 years and it still looks great.

OP wants protection from rocks thrown by the tires. Rock sliders will only help when they have filler plates.

What ever you get, do it soon. These trucks when new chip really easy.

You can get mud flaps and 3m clear paint protection film. The film comes in 3 inch, 6 inch, and 12 inch wide rolls.
