Best Way to remove rear lift blocks

    Does anyone know what is the best way to take off the rear lift block or the safest way to do it

    Jack the truck up and lower it back down onto the frame via jack stands. Remove the rear tires. Take your floor jack and then put it under the rear diff and jack it up until it supports the axle. Take off the u bolts on one side and lower the axle a bit via the jack. The axle will lower away from the springs on that side, and allow you to slip out the block. You'll need roughly and inch to clear the pins for the perch and springs. Now you can jack it back up and re-install the u bolts, and repeat for the other side. That's it in a nutshell. Watch a youtube vid if you need more of an eyes on tutorial. You can do both side at the same time if you want, just make sure you can maintain control of the axle housing if you loosen both sides at once.
