Following up again. After a month with plenty of high speed highway driving and the stock clamps on my 2016, I've had absolutely no issues. I've had to tighten my rear clamps once as things settled in, but they hadn't actually loosened up during driving or anything...it was me just checking them, as you should with any canopy every once in a while.

I just installed my Prinsu designs cabrack last night and absolutely love the result. I think the line flows perfectly from the cabrack to the bestop.

I've been in e-mail communication with Matthew Parks at Bestop. According to him the 2016 part# is 76301-01. I had some difficulty ordering based on that part number /sku, however I was able to finally select 2016 DCLB as an option and input simply '76301'. The unit is on order.

My truck won't be in for several more weeks, so I won't know if this top has been modified for the 2016 or not right away, however I will post as soon as I can. Hopefully we get a warm-ish day soon after I get the truck in order to properly stretch the unit on.

Have an opportunity to purchase a new supertop for $200. The guy bought the wrong bed length so never got installed on his 2nd gen. My plans are just to run it without the windows for the dogs during the summer heat. Not sure if I should pull the trigger now. Those of you that have them, is it possible to trim those post down to height for a more custom fit or you think it would be too much work? Just wondering if it'll be fine to run with that extra height.

there is nothing that can be trimmed. There is a rail that clamps to the bed on each side, and then the cross bars are attached to both sides and kinda work like the poles of a tent.

Yah I decided it might not be worth it to try and create a project out of this. I'll just save and get a softtopper.
