Better towing mirrors than Walmart clip-ons?

Hi, I'm Bob, I have a 2014 Tacoma with towing package. I tow a small 14 foot Coleman. I have those clip on mirrors from Walmart. I do not like them. Can some one recommend a better towing mirror.

The price is down to $16/piece. Lowest I've seen it. They were $30 each last week. I jumped on them when it dropped to $18.

I'll be using them this weekend. I'll let you know how it goes. I was pleased with the test fit anyway.

 

I used them on a Tripp and they were ok, but I did not care for them. The middle one was shaking a lot. I did have to stop and re secure them a couple of times.

 

Used them on a 2000 mile trip really liked them and they stayed put once put on!

I used these for my camping trip this past weekend and I'm very pleased with them. Install was simple, visibility was good, and they didn't loosen up at all.

 

I too was disappointed with the lack of decent tow mirrors for the Tacoma. I have a 2017 pulling a 19' Sonic by Venture. I decided to install a rear camera that is always on with a display that clips to the mirror. I ran a wireless transmitter in the trailer and a wireless receiver in the Tacoma. Total parts cost was less than $100 for camera, 7' display and wireless transmitter/receiver. Now I have a great view behind me all the time and can see vehicles in the camera until they are picked up by the regular mirrors. I have attached a picture of the camera in operation. No shaking, no straps and a great view when backing into a RV space!!

I knew SOMEONE had to link these! These are the ultimate towing mirrors for the tacoma. A little silly looking when flipped up, but who cares, it works great.

 

Would you mind giving some details and possibly links to your camera setup? I've been interested in doing the same.

Those are the ones...I even think they provide better visibility when they are turned down, better than the factory one and they look like they belong on the truck.

I have the proefx mirrors too. Got them on a group buy here at TW.com.
Great for towing but I'm not the biggest fan for everyday use, especially for parralel parking with them but they're ok for normal driving. Just the main mirror seems completely flat (not convex or concave? whichever. ..) so it's harder to see the rear wheels. Ymmv... but still recommend especially if towing a lot! Hit up mach1man001 if interested.
I just swap my stock mirrors in for the winter. 15 min job...

Almost had me there!

 

I had that issue at first, but I had the same style spot mirrors on my OE mirrors so I just got another pair. They rotate so adjusting them is easy. I think they were $2 each at Auto Zone. Very nice for parking/backing close to curbs.

 

I have the proEFX mirrors. I love them, and it makes the Dodge Ram guys do a double take lol
