Hey guys n' girls. In a nutshell, a rubber-necker was watching an accident on the side of the road and ended up smacking into the back of my Tacoma. $1950 worth of damage. She held up really well, just a little dent in the bumper, the plastic step plate thing, the corner of the tailgate, and the receiver cover. His Sonata had the hood crumpled up, headlight hanging out, bumper wrecked. I lurched forward pretty good when he hit me, I got out expecting all kinds of damage. I smiled when it was barely anything!

I talked the lady into touching up my tailgate since he damaged the corner slightly anyway (there was a thumb sized dent in it that drove me nuts for months) as well as ditching the crappy ass "chrome" bumper that already looked like a spotty, rusted piece of scrap metal. They made the whole tailgate look brand new, as well as put a paint-matched bumper on instead. Super happy with the work and the upgrade to a color matched bumper that I wanted to buy in the first place. :) The taco held up like a dream, good job Toyota.
