well I was wanting to switch my stock tires to BFGs onto my stock rims. My question is for the people who have was the switch worth it ? As in did the ride of your new truck change at all ,
noise, vibration to the stearing wheel ect ect ?

A slight more side to side movement in the steering wheel going over bumps slowly. Definitely corners better and feels great on the freeway. The looks alone of the KO2 were worth it IMO

see ill agree about how the treads are very aggressive on the BFG ko s. from my past when ever
I brought rims and tires no matter weather they were expensive or cheap they all seem to change the ride or make noise or something. I was always dissatisfied with them and seem to go back to my stock tires/rims.
I really like the look though but would I be disappointed in the change in the ride and noise. I don't want to throw away my money on something that would just make me mad not happy

Don't you have a 4cyl? You won't be happy with the power those heavy tires will rob.

I just put a set of these on my truck after getting my SCS wheels. I'm initially quite pleased, but with <50 miles on them I'm not sure I can really give any meaning fun input other than my initial impression is positive.

@mustangwilly see this is why I asked . I would have thought putting a steel bumper on would be to much weight.
I didn't know tires could be a strain for a 4 cyl. this is why I ask Questions . thanks

Yes depending on the size. I have the V6 and they were too heavy for my liking. I really wanted those tires but they only came in a load range E in the size I wanted. I went with The Goodyear duratrac in load range C. They were 42lbs opposed to 50 lbs for the BFG. The stock Goodyear adventurers weigh 35lbs.

Ive got the C's in 265/70/17... A little louder, very little... Ride feels good. Slight drop in power getting them rolling and a corresponding 1mpg drop, all well worth it for me.

Got mine on my stock sport rims with 1,200 miles on the truck and love them. They make the truck look way better. I haven't noticed much change in the ride, maybe a little stiffer, they are the E load.

Same set up on mine with same results. About 2000 miles on them now. I am very happy with them.

Hey guys, looking at the same tire. I wanted to go 275 but wasn't sure about the ride and added weight. I will have a Boss lift and was wondering if it would look to small to have the 265's on it. Thoughts?

I would think that would depend on hoe much lift you dial in and personal taste, i just picked up a leveling kit and will install soon... Thats enough for me.

I have 265/75/r16, load E, on my Xterra and they're great. Excellent grip on and off pavement as well as good wet weather performance, while staying relatively quiet. Once i take delivery of my 2016, I'll be swapping to these immediately.

I changed to the 265 75 16 and the ride improved all around. Better stability, ride quality, etc. I'm getting 20+ mpg on the highway.

Do you have any lift with the 265's? I'm planning on the Boss lift and don't know if the 265's would be to small.
