    It's the wife's T4R so it's stock
I'd go with the 06 tundra... Plain now, but that can be fixed

Bens right... The 05-06 years were the best of 1genners... I can't comment on price however. 4.7 is a good motor, needs to have timing chain/belt done at 100k so make sure it was done... Most also do water pump at huge same time since ya gotta pull it apparently.

Ya column shift sucks but ya get used to it... I'd rock this before a full size any day...

    I love my 4Runner.

The V8s are pigs on gas, but run great.

3.4s and 4.7s need timing belts at 90-100k.

What do you need to know?

    Idk
Just wasn't happy with 1 gens "too small"
    And tundys too plain

And i think i want a change from a pickup

    And this fits the bill
Looks like the 05 has the vtt-i motor
Got it narrowed down to a 04.05 or 07

Seems like everything needs new timing and water pumps after 100k??

    Open to all suggestions
Things to watch out for ect...

Even has fog lights on his mud flaps lol

I like the blue tundra, or look at 3rd gen 4runners. I wanted one for a long time.. The "limited" models have some problems but the sr5 seems great

stay away from the 06 f150

a guy i work with has the same truck (identical). spark plugs can be a whore to change (8+ hours if they break), he has been chasing a p0356 for the better part of a year.. countless hours of diagnosing. if a cam phaser takes a shit you have to rip apart the front of the engine. bottom line, that 3v 5.4 isn't worth it.

    stick with the yotas IMO
