very simple need a little tweeking but not much. I think if your not comfortable with your fabrication skills this is the kit for you. Dont get me wrong FX-R is sweet but this was installed in fraction of that time if you stayed chrome you could be up and running in a few hrs rather than a few days

Nice job LouTaco! What kind of ballast are you using? Would you happen to have any night pictures? Or any pictures to show how bright these awesome lights are?! :D

Love seeing all these retro projects. Looks great man.

I just started on my BHLM and retro and just got done painting the bezel. What did you use to clean all the oem glue off so cleanly? Unfortunately my oven isn't big enough for my headlamps so i used a heat gun method. Just need to clean the oem glue off to use the window weld. Any tips? Beside heating it up and scrapping it away.

I just heated up a section at a time with a heat gun, then scraped out the hot glue with a old flathead screwdriver that fit nicely in the grove. i also kept the screwdriver tip hot as well, worked well for smoothing it down flat. So far no leaks or moisture and its been raining almost non-stop plus a car wash visit.

Old post, I know. looks awesome though. I think I'm going to do the exact same thing when my projectors come in. Mine are Mini H1 but similar deal.

I've been wavering on blacking out the reflectors, but it seems to look pretty nice.
