BHLM brightness

all you guys with the black headlight mod, did you guys notice a diffrence in brightness? are the lights not as bright? does it even affect it at all?

 

If you paint the reflector black, then you will see decrease in brightness.. Otherwise, you should not notice a difference at all.

 

i always thought since your painting the reflective chrome background black then that would kill all brightness

 

With bhlm you only want to paint the bezel and not the reflector. The bezel is just chrome and for show. The reflector is what the light actually bounces off of. So it shouldn't affect brightness too much. It might affect how much glare is there.
