for sure thanks for the input guys i think im gonna give it a try black and see how it looks, the side lense piece yall were talking about leaving off could i leave that off and possibly put a different color bulb the perhaps red to match the truck?

 

You could but in most states that would be illiegal.

 

since when was being legal any fun what exactly is the function of that bulb my truck is still in shipment so i havent been able to light them up and look at them

 

its the marker light. got blue in mine.

and the headlights look good either way

im on cgc block island out of atlantic beach nc, spent some time tad down in miami for a while, dry docked in ft. pierce florida for about 4 months, graduated boot camp charlie 182, bein on a pb ive been all over the east coast the past year and a half

its a small coast guard im sure we'll cross paths eventually cept the part where your an air type and im a water type lol

The inner bulb is your daytime running light bulb... so yea, its noticeable

 

i was realizing that, i think im just gonna take the amber cover off on the inside and do a red bulb on the outside side marker

 

The Popo may not like the red bulb idea.

 

ill probly do it and then see how noticeable it is' the popo are pretty forgiving around here im on the obx, if they harass me for the red light ill ask them why there not paying any attention to the super duties rolling around on 54s and 52s

 

Im going to go out on a limb here and say rolling around on 54s and 52s would not be considered inpersonating a police officer.......

 

police around here have blue and white, no red so not really impersonating police, and a red turn signal is a little less important then people driving around in trucks thats are way over the legal lift limit and big enough to destroy just about any small car they crash into lol

 

That is your opinion. I'd bet the police would have a different one.....
