Scuba mike you can get it cheaper and overnight it. Or make that other dealer price match.

    RIP Lefty,
You shined brightly like a star
Until you got put you in the oven to char
    While you shed a tear
The fire department showed up in full gear
Then you post this thread and fill us with cheer

I remember baking my cars headlight to open it up back in 2001, when I was 17 years old. No internet DIY to show me how to do it. Went without a hitch.

How you can be a grown ass man and manage to fuck this up, not be able to put a headlight fire out yourself, get the fire fighters out there, and actually pay $750 for a single headlight just boggles my mind.

What is the world coming to..

I too didn’t know a neighbor is on the forum as well. I work on the Corps side so if you travel that way let me know. I’m shocked Corvias isn’t flipping out. Im sure this will be on the Fort Bragg watch report! If you need any tools let me know bro. I’m down the road.

damn lol, glad the house didnt burn down...pro tip (already been stated most likely haha, im not reading 16 pages of comments), turn the oven OFF and use a thick piece of wood THEN put the lights in...haha. I almost did the same thing several months back, put cardboard inside the oven and derpd and forgot to not put the cardboard in until AFTER the oven was turned off. Lets just say there was a lot of smoke and a lot of smoldering cardboard haha

    Could be worse.

I had a guy burn his barracks kitchenette to the ground trying to deep fry a twinkie.

I had two in the kitchen and actually used one of them to put the fire out.

There's also a reply in here somewhere from one of my neighbors that I didn't even realize was on this forum. The contents of his post verify that he is for real, as is this fucking disaster of a BHLM.

Just for you. I don't have a copy of the police report yet, but the narrative I wrote starts with "I was repairing a piece of automotive hardware by heating it in my kitchen oven......"
