BHLM on 2010?

Buddys telling me it won't work because of the type of stuff they put around the light. The gray charcoal-esque foil or something?

 

From what I heard there is kind of a tint like film that's used for the smoked headlights on the 09-10 TRD models. You can probably get it off though with some patience.

 

I dono if this helps since i dont have a trd but im in the process of doing the BHLM on my 2010 prerunner sr5. I followed the BHLM tutorial thread and havent had any problems so far, I'm just waiting overnight for the paint to dry really good so I dont chip it (looks great so far) and then I will put the lights back together in the morning and back on the truck.
