Big 2GR-FKS engine problem

This just happened to my '16 TRD MT with 44k miles on it. I was driving and had near total power loss. Had the truck towed to the dealership and they are stumped. They said it's giving them error codes related to the cylinders that they have never seen and have to call in a Toyota field tech to come look at it.

Sounds like a quick repair....

Update: Cylinder 5 was cracked. They are doing a top end teardown to see if there was any other damage. It's been at the deal for two weeks already.

 

Probably moved on as this was 3 years ago….
