Too poor to list anything interesting.
I wouldn't mind going, but I have other trips already planned out and it'll eat a large chunk of my vacation.

I go every year during spring break.

I really want to go during late Sept early Oct. It is the rain season and would be fun I think. Would have to get some mud tires though. To many creek bed crossings.

My wife and I are heading back out for a week in October. We're going to do a little of both. Let me know if you want pictures of campsites or something while we are out there. They sell a really good map at the Ranger stations for the state park, don't know how to buy it other than picking it up in person. I can grab some for ya'll if you want while I'm out there.

Could you GPS track your route thru the park and mark waypoints for good campsites and points of interest?

    Nice pics by the way.

    Thanks.

I can record my track if you want, but all of the GPS locations for the state park campsites are available here:

    http://www.tpwd.state.tx.us/state-parks/big-bend-ranch/fees-facilities/campsites

I punched them in for Chorro Vista when we went last time and had no difficulties.

Nope. After speaking with a few people they say the park is too mild to warrant all the extra parts so all I will take is what I usually take, tie rod, CV, spare tire and tools to fix everything.
