I’ve got the stoptech ST60 up front. Went with the largest rotors I could 380MM, and 2pc. The truck STOPS on a dime. Even with big ass 37” tires. I also did rear disc conversion with ST40’s. Not as much bang for your buck in the rear but I wanted to match. I have a TRD offroad with drawl control. Surprisingly I did not have to change the M/C. It’s pretty difficult and costly on models with crawl control. So far so good:D

Purchased front and rear kit from Tom over at SOSperformance. I just sanded the calipers and painted them myself. Full bolt on kit and great to deal with. He even has a TW coupon for us:thumbsup:

380mm will squeeze under some 18" wheels.

That is good to hear. Truck does feel great on my end. I have a few WTF moments but just found out my truck is heavy as hell so that is probably not doing me any favors. I have disco conversion for my truck and have been debating if I should get a BBK to match. Like you said not as much bang for the buck but I like the idea of matching setups. Been chatting with SOS and just reached out to wilwood to see what caliper they recommend I match with the Aero6 calipers. The SOS kits use the forged superlites.

I don’t recall SOS mentioning anything about needing spacers to clear the calipers. I had those installed before the calipers.

Agree there that will all depend on your wheel setup and which kit you run. Most of them you need a 17" wheel but a couple are available from stoptech or wilwood that are setup for 16" wheels.

My buddy with stoptech non LT is not running any spacers on Method's with no special offset 4.75" BS. I have wilwood calipers on 3.5" BS SCS Ray 10's. If its an SCS they will clear no problem. I have not see anyone that has had issues. But a quick search should find someone who has if it exists.

I run this setup, clears easily with SCS, no spacers needed.

Getting closer to purchasing- one follow up Question- did you buy the entire 5th gen 4runner kit from RR racing or put it all together yourself? If you did put the parts together yourself, why did you decide not to go with the RR racing kit? I'm really hoping for a "plug and play" direct bolt up kit.

I just bought it from RR Racing (kit includes brackets and calipers (calipers come with Wilwood BP-20 pads). I actually for now reused my stoptech slotted rotors I already had on from the 4runner setup. They have options to get rotors but the nice thing here is any 5th gen 2010-2015 will work so you can go smooth, slotted, drilled/slotted, kangaroo (dBA rotors). I did order some DBA Rotors elsewhere because I got a deal but those things sell out a lot so took a few months to get them hence used my existing which were still good. The RR kit you cant piece together they will not sell the bracket seperate to the caliper so you have to buy the caliper/bracket together then you have an option for rotors and lines. Also I already had stainless lines so I did not get new ones.

    this and that...
these bbks fit behind ray10s (17x8.5) without a spacer? would love to rock a set of bbks just for the eye candy. the reduction of unsprung weight doesnt hurt either.
