Hey all, my wife is moving to the Lakewood area soon. We flew up there this past weekend and found a decent apt for her in the Lakewood area that wasn't an insane amount of money. We're driving out there with a trailer on Feb 13 and should be there on the 14. We're driving up from SW Fl. I'll be pulling a small trailer with most of what she needs. I just need a hand with 2 or 3 items. A dresser, an entertainment center and a recliner. Nothing really heavy, but a huge pain in the ass for a guy to try to get up a set of stairs by himself. Drinks and dinner on me at the 49th- or if you know another cool place as it's all I've found so far lol.

I know it's a long shot.

I appreciate y'all. We'll be coming up from Sarasota- just south of Tampa. Wife got a great job offer and can't pass it up. It'll be a while before I come up. I have 13 years on at my job and we want to make sure she loves it and that everything is good before I leave it. It's going to be tough maintaining two households but that's life. I look forward to meeting some of y'all. If y'all ever slide down this way, let me know.

The Cape is/was a beautiful place 15-20 yrs ago. I hardly recognize it anymore.

 

Yeah, its a special place. All of my family left FL other than dad who is still in Ft Myers... hopefully they'll move so I dont have to go back there.

I just noticed that it's Valentine's Day. No intentions of disrupting anyone's plans.

If I could help I would definitely do it. But weekdays are tough for me having a school-aged daughter and all.

 

Depending on the time that this happens, I am pretty close to Lakewood (depending what part) I could swing by at help out.
