I was gifted this 1997 taco by my grandfather a couple years ago, has 140,000 miles on it and runs super well! I’m ready to start doing some modifications to it. It just got repainted this sick new color.

I’m currently looking at a set of 31x10.5 r15 tires for it and I’m not sure if they are going to fit. I’m also considering getting a 2inch leveling kit to combat the possibility of rubbing.

Does anyone know if that size tire will fit? Would the leveling kit help with that? Thanks!

    I don't think I've seen 31's on a 5 lug before.
It will be interesting to see how they fit.

I fit 30x 9.50's with hammering the firewall/ inner fenders and cutting. Could likely fit 31's if i tried.

a 2 inch lift will make them fit but at full bump you will still rub, unless you go with spindles versus v6 coils/ hockey puck route. Looks good and for sure a clean pickup, good luck!
